Senior Bioprocess / Manufacturing Engineer (Founding Hire)

We’re hiring a senior-level founding team member: a hands-on bioprocess leader who wants meaningful ownership, growth potential, and the opportunity to build and own the manufacturing and quality systems that Expora will scale around.
What you’ll do
Lead and execute BEV production using 50–500 L fed-batch bioreactors
Design and execute process development / R&D, analyze data, and implement process improvements
Author SOPs, batch records, and core QMS workflows aligned with CGMP manufacturing
What we’re looking for
5+ years hands-on experience in microbial or biologic manufacturing (CDMO/biotech/pharma/consumer supplements)
Direct experience with fed-batch fermentation and/or cell clarification/TFF
Strong documentation discipline and experience operating in a quality-managed environment
Builder mindset: you want to create systems, own outcomes, and scale a platform

Bioprocess / Manufacturing Technician (Founding Hire)

What you’ll do
Execute BEV production using 50–500 L fed-batch bioreactors
Run downstream purification using depth filtration + TFF
Support and run process development / R&D experiments; analyze results and propose improvements
Maintain excellent documentation aligned with CGMP guidelines
Support QC/functional testing (preferred): BSL-2 mammalian cell culture, cytokine release assays, ELISA
What we’re looking for
Hands-on experience (internship/co-op included) with fermentation/bioreactors and/or filtration/TFF
Strong attention to detail and a “data integrity first” approach to documentation
You’re excited to learn fast and take ownership in a startup environment
No degree requirements.
